EMC directive
Mean Well ensures that all switching power supplies it manufactures are designed to meet specified EMC directives with verification
by an independent certified lab.
However there are two categories for power supplies. First there is the stand-alone power supply, such as a Lab Power Supply which
can be tested under EMC individually.
The other is a component power supply, such as an Enclosed Power Supply or Open Frame Power Supply which will be installed into final
equipment. Since EMC performance will be effected by the complete installation, Mean Well cannot guarantee the final equipment meeting
the EMC directive. Therefore, the final product manufacturer must re-confirm the EMC directive on the final product.

Early Failure Rate : 0.22%, based on first year return quantity vs. sales quantity.
Typically, the service life of electrolytic capacitors decrease by half if the ambient temperature increases by 10°C.
Improved cooling or derating current can increase the service life of switching power supplies.
